Hmmm. MacOS X 10.2 rocks. Only 2 problems:

  • The machine I have to play with it is too slow.
  • It's not mine, and I dont get to keep it.

Oh, And it's not Debian. :)

So, I havent looked at and/or posted on Advogato for eons. I look back at my first few diary entries and shudder. How Naive was I? Wow, over 2 years.. Anyway, I guess it shows that something as innovative and original as Advogato is a winner.

If anyone has played with/installed/administered Remedy ARS, please let me know where I can contact the support group. No, not the Remedy Support group, the People-who-are-scarred-for-life-from-ARS support group. What an absolutely HIDEOUS piece of software. Oracle underneath doesnt help much either.

Up late tonight, performing some long needed OS patching on a few core Solaris and Tru64 machines. Fun, Fun. I'd better go download the patches soon.

daniels: I'm surprised that squid(?) on the proxy doesnt use LDAP auth.. *shrug*
