I added myself here because I thought it'd let me see other people's email addresses. jum had a question about creating UFS disk images on OS X; I had figured it out a couple of weeks ago but there was no way I could see to reply to his diary entry. So I did the usual web search, and uncovered his address, but it was still harder than it needed to be.

And now I have an advogato account. Oh well. I have written some (small) bits of free software, see my software page. My first real application should be coming out in a few weeks, if I find a thesis topic first so I can get some time to finish it.

(hey, cool, it looks like you can close tags with a simple </> here, I did it without thinking since it happens where I usually write, and was surprised they expanded properly.)

Others have certified nriley as follows:

  • Ilan certified nriley as Apprentice
  • neurogato certified nriley as Apprentice

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
