woke up close to noon again. No power outtage waking me up at 5am, tho. read mail, websites, and then got set up for nethack. Got a call from a friend who doesn't know much about Linux, that I set a system up for, with a few problems. So, spent a few hours upgrading the system, and started a Slackware->Debian upgrade on it.

Nethack

First game, I headed to Sokoban, then back up and down into the gnomish mines. Ran into three ghosts from my friend on the same level. He'd tried to convert the altar with the priest there on one of the deaths, and I accidentally tried to talk to the priest. Ouch. Tried to convert the altar back, but found out the hard way that converting an altar doesn't work with unicorn corpses...oh well

Took a break in here for dinner, somewhere

Second game, I'm looking for an altar. I'm on level 21, the only one has been in the mine town. I'm not really well enough equipped at the moment for level 21, which I need the altar to help me with. We'll see how it goes.

Looks like that will wrap up the day. I think I really needed a day like this...:)
