raphael, where are your gimp patches?
Found a job in the meantime which is fun to do but keeps me from hacking on the real projects like GIMP, GIMP FreeType and the GNU FontManager. Most certainly the job situation will change soon, but I fear it won't make that situation better. Well, that's life, I suppose.
Tonight I will leave for this years Summer Jam Festival and I'm really looking forward to it. Actually I should be at LinuxTag in Stuttgart where the new edition of my german Gimp reference will be presented, but I've always been to the Summer Jam during the last eight years and I'm trying not to break with this tradition. Hopefully the weather will be good, but we'll have fun anyway.
XPlanet rocks!
Couldn't stop Xach from posting an announcement for GIMP FreeType on the Gimp News frontpage, so now everone knows about it. One interesting contributor already showed up who has code to create bezier paths from glyphs. I'm looking forward to see this in CVS. In the meantime I have hacked up a preliminary fontselector which will help me to settle on the design for the final one. After some discussion on #gimp the plans are pretty clear now and I hope to have some code ready soon.
FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
