If I believed in luck, I'd have to say that it's been bad lately.
1) http://michaeldavies.org's hardware died, and I simply don't have the time to replace it.
2) Finally after much whinging and complaining via the various forums, spare copper has appeared in my street and I was able to switch over from cable to ADSL. Of course Telstra responded by killing my landline phone connection, which also simultaneously killed my ADSL. Of course it has been labelled as a line fault, but it's a very strange coincidence that the fault happened a week after ADSL was connected, and the day after the cable account was terminated.
2 days have passed, and I have no landline still. I wonder how long this will go on for :-(
