I released version 0.2.2 of the Audio File Library today.

Here's a summary of the changes:

  • Added support for the IRCAM file format.
  • Added support for floating-point audio data in AIFF-C and WAVE files.
  • Improved support for compressed audio data in AIFF-C, WAVE, and NeXT/Sun .snd/.au files.
  • Added new keywords to sfconvert.
  • Cleaned up code for 64-bit systems.

I released version 0.2 of the Audio File Library today. The changes are significant:
  • Virtual sample format conversion has been fully implemented.
  • Error handling is significantly more robust.
  • Raw sound data files are supported.
  • File reading and writing are much faster.

I found out today that the paper I submitted to CHI 2001 has been accepted. The paper is entitled "Surface Drawing: Creating Organic 3D Shapes with the Hand and Tangible Tools" and is based on collaboration with Steven Schkolne and Peter Schröder.

I released a new version of the Audio File Library yesterday. The most substantial changes were under the hood. No one has complained yet...

I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed today. I expect that the opiates will do wonders for my productivity.

FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
