I made the Nautilus notes view look nicer - made the text box take the whole area, and turned the text box light yellow, because light yellow just says "annotation". To me, anyway.

Now to work on making web browsing in nautilus not crash, or maybe the view changing bug.

We hired Pavel of Be tracker fame today. Yippee!

Also, I guess we will be flying my friend Rebecca out here for an interview soon. I hope she is impressed.

In other news, I can't help but notice a couple of people certifying me whose names I don't really recognize. If you know (of) me, I'd like to know you. So if I don't certify you back in a couple of days (yeah, certs are lame, but if the game is there I may as well play it) feel free to email me or something and say hi,

Well, I did manage to get the in-place image viewing thing last night. I jut had to install EOG and add 4-5 lines of code to nautilus. Would have been 0 if we had a proper activation model. It still has issues though.

Also, I fixed the long-standing bug with gnome-vfs-slave processes being left around (again). Actually, it was a lot easier to debug than I expected once I got down to it.

Much hiring angst today, also.

OK all attempts at keeping my own weblog have failed. So I might as well try this diary thing.

I spend today hacking up some CORBA code tag-team style with sullivan. I learned a lot about CORBA/Bonobo myself. Now I need to actually write some test cases for my code.

Checked in some of the zoomability stuff I've been working on, too.

Now I think I will hack on incorporating EOG as the image viewer.
