So what have I just been working on? A little python script to help me relearn the bit of Python I once knew, to let me check out the jabber.py python jabber libs (motto: Documentation? We don't need to documentation! -- or something like that ;) ) and to form part of an ideological basis that would allow me to write a component that posts to all of your, well, my, different weblogs. So i'd just send a message to joggergato.jabberserver and through the various wonders that exist, i'd have all my various and redundant journals updated simultaneously. Yum. I call it joggergato right now since it posts to jogger and advogato. how utterly creative.

Oops. That was premature. Stinky feets.

I saw. And now I confirm. Woop!

With any luck, this should be posted at both http://advogato.org/person/mikeszcz and http://jogger.jabber.org/user.php?jid=mike@jabber.org ... We'll see and update afterwards.

first test of a python advogato-and-jogger-updating commandline script.

so many "important" things to do...

illuminated

Today in psychology our teacher brought in one of a bunch of sunligh-emulating lamps he recently got, that is supposed to hit the retina and fake it out so that it produces seratonin and then endorphins and so forth. Sat under it for maybe 7-10 minutes and you know what? it actually helped me feel better. by the time i left i wasn't nearly as cranky and i didn't feel my bones drawing me to the floor where i could sleep. Unfortunately about ten or fifteen minutes after I left it I was feeling pretty much the same as i had been before i sat under the light. Normally it's a 30 min - two hour session where you just do your work or read or what have you under the light, so I suppose the reaction would be much increased. Unless of course it's all placebo effect, but I was actually rather skeptical that it would make a palpable difference. Interesting, to say the least :)

dammit. i've started to get tired at like 9pm and then by 11 or so i have no short term memory and i feel all anxious and confused.

i don't know what is happening.

carp. i realized that some of my financial aid materials didn't go out. please, please, please don't penalize me, mr big educational institution! please?
