Double-cluthing, heel-toe downshifting, smooth driving. Ever since I got my driver's license a little over a month ago, I've been obsessed with cardriving. This weekend I managed to drive 400km without a single purpose at all, just for fun and relaxation, trying to shift gears better and smoother every turn.
With a fuel price of almost $1.10/liter (yes, that's $4.16/gallon) it's rapidly becoming a very expensive hobby.
Perhaps I should seek help ;) Perhaps I should try and convince the Dutch government to get rid of the excessive (90% of the price) environmental tax. But for now I'll just have to cut down on computer hardware expenses I suppose ;)
Oh btw, if you have any smooth driving tips, please mail them to me!
