Notes: I'm not properly a developer. I'm a network manager. I'm Linux as primary plataform. I have a AIX 4.2.1 system that I trying to covert to a GNU box. I'm having a lot of work (and some fun). I also build webpages using PHP tool and databases (sometimes MySQL, sometimes PostgreSQL). My passion is Sendmail. I love this daemon. When I have free time, I used it to test sendmail beta versions and their third parties. I'm writing articles for "Revista do Linux" (Brazil). In these articles I give tips and tricks about Linux and related topics. Rodrigo Barbosa (morcego) is my Linux/Network guru (http://www.advogato.org/person/morcego).
I'm having problems today... both Linux and AIX. I tryed to install Linux on a "Byte On" machine (Brazilian Integrator) and there is no support for devices . I believe that Byte On uses devices with low quality, without certification.
The IBM (7248 43P) IBM 4.2.1 stopped working and there's no way to bring up again. I'm thinking about joing OpenSource developers to port Linux to RS6000... I hate AIX!
Fortunatelly, today is Friday... Let's beer! Salute!
