555x Ipaq acting up. Didn't want to seem to turn back on for ages. Very scary - I already have 2 Ipaqs that are pretty much useless due to dead batterys - Must get replacement for 3870.

I want a skyscraper poster.

Uploaded a new CVS matchbox build in familiar unstable. Compositing still could be snappier - gotta figure out how to profile it better.

Tigert was kind enough to give me a new icon for the panel battery monitor :-)

Thanks to Gnome-blog, Id thought Id yet again attempt to start regularly filling out some sort of blog. At least now I can avoid html forms, something that I've always been slightly allergic too.

Gnome-blog is nice - simple and easy to pick up, I kind of like the way it integrates with the panel so I can gradually add content throughout the day before finally posting. It does however have some annoyances. It cant seem to handle multiple accounts and I cant figure out how to reedit inserted links - apart from removing and re-adding.

So much hacking todo. Have a zillion tiny bits and pieces to clean up for the next matchbox release - stuff Id really like to get done before Fosdem. Gradually getting there, should all be worth it - some really cool stuff coming :-).

Bought some new music at the weekend - Goldfrapp 'black cherry' album ( Its moog-tastic ), Har Mar Superstar album ( comedy but a bit dissapointing ) and Joni mitchell 'blue' album ( havn't listened to it yet ). Also got #4 of Alan Moores new-ish excellent SMAX series.

Quick test to check that gnome-blog is blogging!

I finally got round to updating my handhelds.org 'homepage'.

The new matchbox in CVS is progressing well. The new 'themeing engine' is working on dialog windows just. The now seperate dock is looking really nice. I just hope I've implemented freedesktop.org specs correctly and not introduced a load of bloat into matchbox - never :).

I still dont have a job :( . Whats does a recruitment pimp do when he cant get a Python programmer for a role ? Probably posts a 'job' like this ...

Went to that NTK do last weekend. Although I didn't think much of that, I got to meet fellow handhelds.org hackers dc, pb and spse which was nice.

Ewe, one of my cats, Gavin, crapped all over the bedroom. This combined with my ladyfriend being away meant I had to figure out how to clean it up without throwing up. Yuck.

Hid upstairs away from the smell that wont go away. Hopefully lady will call up later and advise.

Whilst hiding did some matchbox hacking. Integrated the now seperate dock which now just about follows the XEmbed and system tray specs at freedesktop.org. Also made it handle fullscreen windows. Next step is to clean out more cruft and implement more ewm specs..

Discovered a lot of interresting patches recently for the Dillo web browser recently.
