It's been much time since my last diary entry. Actually, I'm keeping a diary in my personal homepage: http://www.magsilva.dynalias.net/~marco/diary/. I have to add the code for submitting automatically the entries to advogato, but I've some hard stuff this week, things have to wait a bit. But I hope till november everything will be allright. Jaa ne!

Modified a spec file I got for Kile and created a package for Kile. I also wrote an email to Conectiva's maillist about a qt3-devel's wrong dependency, a very annoying mistake. I'm glad it was promptly fixed by Arnaldo, next step is report the XMMS error (hehe).

So Marcelo Tosatti left Conectiva? Urgh, that sounds bad. Till when it will hold on, keep on their feets, whatever?

At least one thing I'm excelling in university: throwing paper on backet, almost 100% hit ratio :-)

Sometimes São Carlos impress me: http://www.netvideo.com.br

So there is an easy way to change ways Windows authenticates its users? http://pgina.xpasystems.com/plugins/

"When the FSF refers to the GPL license as being a "copyleft" they're making a joke, because they're using COPYRIGHT law to ensure that the code remains freely available. Copyleft is not a principle the law recognizes." Better remind this quote, very good and simple!

The world is falling into my head, but that's ok... Spent about on hour fixing Conectiva's Xmms's output alsa plugin and building a RPM package. I need to practice this more, hehe.

The machine switch finally comes to an end! I upgraded from a P2 400 (with a harddisk slower than a CD-ROM drive) to a P3-1 GHz with 512 MiB RAM and plenty of HD space (and speed!). All software is already installed (both Windows and Linux side), so I can start coding seriously.

From everything I planned for today, the only thing I did was buying the keyboard extension cable. Ah, and started looking for Japanese's stuff. Yeah, I think I'll try to learn this...
