Toby's response to the IPv6 story reminded me of this quote by Rob Flickenger, "NAT turns the Internet into TV".

I really like that quote because it reminds me that the current trend of the internet turning into a one to many medium is wrong. End to end connectivity allows everyone to be a publisher with the same resources they use to access the Internet.

I believe this is crucial, and it's for this reason that I'm building a Community Wireless Network and doing what I can to help other people build their own.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
