It's been one of those days on palm-dev-forum:
- Three people have accused
GCC of wasting global data space on string literals instead
of putting them into a readonly section such as the code
section. (Okay, one was just asking.)
Well, duh: of course it does the right thing! They're used to a crappy compiler, so they assume GCC is just as bad.
- One lunatic
has demonstrated extreme
cluelessness about
floating point, holding
out masterfully against informed
helpfulness.
- There was the usual collection of people who wouldn't know what a manual was if you hit them over the head with it, or who can't find a mailing list archive whose URL is at the end of every single mail message on the list!
Joy.
