: I agree that the phrase 'free
software' is probably the best we have at the moment, but
any marketing campaign that needs it's name explaining could
have problems, in my opinion. 99% of people who aren't
already active in Free software will connect 'free' with
'gratis' rather than 'libre', and if they need that
explained, then they may very well 'switch off'. How do we
get around this?
