Well that's much better.. got a good 15hrs sleep yesterday, having gone to bed at 17:00... i guess 24 is just too old to be staying out that late.. i don't know how savs copes.. perhaps it's the lure of the student body(s) that keeps him going...
In other news, work on the perly-postgresy project is steaming along, thanks to by new best friend, CGI::FastTemplate.
ewww... so, went to the pub with iDunno, savs, Chicago and others, for a quick pint and a game of pool. I ruled the pool table, which was quite cool... but probably due to a lower level of drinking on my part. Did win 40ukp from iDunno by doing a neat double on the black to win the game....
If only a quick pint hadn't turned into 5 quick pints, 2 jd and cokes and half a bottle wine, i'd be ok... as it is we finally managed to call a cab at 0315.
All together now... "URGH"
...not that i'm at all hungover... had a nice 3 hour lie-in tho, which was good... got woke up by mark's van leaving at 5:30 to go to work, but amazingly i managed to go to sleep.
I'm determined not to do any work on 'work' stuff today - got to sort the house out anyway. Looks like a shitty day outside, so i guess gardening is out (damn).
Well.. not that drunk actually.... when out for a drink with savs, iDunno, chicago, and a few others who don't have accounts here... trouble is a lot of them had been drinking since lunch time, and went home, so i actually only got two drinks in. Poo.
Anyway, now sitting at home doing this, ircing on tsw, and playing on puzzle bobble with jo and mark.

so, had a really shitty day today, life-wise... just about working out what a total fuckup i've really made of bits of it.

Had some days off work, with Jo and went to London for a couple of days. Saw cats, the musical - was stunning - can't believe it closes in the west end and on broadway in eleven days - catch it if you can. Had food at a great pub near there.
After a stop over in a travellodge (not adventurous, but at least we knew what we were getting) we had food at bagelmania - how good is that place? Hot chocolate was more hot than chocolate tho...
We met up with an old friend of Jo's and his gf, and went for drinks and food in a mexican eatery in leicester square, whose name escapes me now.. nice cocktails tho.. Update: savs reckons it's called "chiquitas"... cheers matey.
BBQ at the parental being's this evening, which should be good..
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
