I wrote some dl*(3) shims for Darwin/OSX systems without their own. http://srcsys.o rg/work/code/dl_dyld.c In case you want them... You should be able to include them in projects that are GPL'd as well as most other licenses... The project I did them for is GPL'd, but I couldn't find a version of these in the wild which wasn't under a conflicting license, or which didn't look like the Apache one with the copyright filed off.

Well, Hybrid7 beta 10 is out, and I encourage everyone to grab it from ircd-hybrid.org, though OSX is not quite as working as I would like in that build... Get patches from me if you like.

Of note is that our configure script _totally_ rocks for compiler detection, in my opinion. I can't find another configure script that sorts out SVR4 SGS compilers, let alone one that has a clue about TenDRA. I'm rather proud of it, and as of right now I don't think we use uname for anything... After all, why would you want to? You're building with the compiler, not the operating system.
