My son's computer got a virus. Sent out about 250 emails before AOL shut ALL of us down. They assume that you have only one computer. The only error message they give is invalid password!

The first time I called (wrong 888 #) they hung up on me, because too many people were waiting for tech support. After calling the second time, they turn my accounts back on and forced some unknown download into AOL. Who knows what it did to my computer (but not my son's) ;) They have placed a warning on my account for SPAM! Three strikes and your out of AOL. Boo-Hoo

The virus scanner missed it during infection, but found and fixed it on a manual check.

Oh Well! I was about to shut AOL down anyway. Switching emails to my cable provider was about done.
