Looks like progress on IEC at MatPLC a GPL PLC project with IEC as part of it. Maybe I will just help out there. A use this as a standalone W/GCC IEC compilier.

They are also want to use MODBUS, at which I have done a LOT of implementaions.

5 Days of virus - the people kind, not the computer kind. BLAA.

Found a paper on new RFC input format:

http://www.cs.columbia.edu/~hgs/papers/draft-schulzrinne- rfc-00.pdf

Looks like i need to check the mailing list cited.

Thinking about transforming all of the RFC's into XML (see rfc 2629). I like the feature of auto-transformation from XML into HTML, PS, PDF, RTF, TXT...

Did a little work on transformation via C program. Searched the WEB, could not find where someone else has done this wholesale. Some people have done their RFC orginally as XML. Using these as templates.

The RFC editor seems to hide the orginal source of the RFC's (nroff format)

Anyone with more ideas?

Bought two new books from O'Reilly at Borders one was 20% off, YES! The other was not! WHY? All other O'Reilly were! My wife dragging me to Tulsa (45 miles each way) was worth it. "XML in a nutshell" and "LEX & YACC".

Some nice people replied? to my diary entries and I can not see those replies! Anyone tell me how to do this? or am I on too much Diet Dr Pepper!

My son's computer got a virus. Sent out about 250 emails before AOL shut ALL of us down. They assume that you have only one computer. The only error message they give is invalid password!

The first time I called (wrong 888 #) they hung up on me, because too many people were waiting for tech support. After calling the second time, they turn my accounts back on and forced some unknown download into AOL. Who knows what it did to my computer (but not my son's) ;) They have placed a warning on my account for SPAM! Three strikes and your out of AOL. Boo-Hoo

The virus scanner missed it during infection, but found and fixed it on a manual check.

Oh Well! I was about to shut AOL down anyway. Switching emails to my cable provider was about done.

Opened a project on Savannah. Trying to setup my linux to connect and transfer the few files that I have (lexx & yacc source) plc.l plc.y http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/plc2c/

Found site that has a draft copy of the spec. Woo-Hoo, free spec!

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
