Supper today was peppered roast beef round inside roast. Quite good, though it could have done with a bit more cooking, I like my beef well done as opposed to medium rare. The use of freshly crushed black pepper proved to be quite peppery, I was pleasently surprised! Anyhow, this is my first roast and I think it went quite well!
I see the Stampede thing spilled onto slashdot and was serious enough for lilo to talk voice with someone. That means it is serious. I wonder what is up there. The only time lilo has called me voice has been something pretty weighty...
Took a quick gander at the SLP spec, doesn't seem to be particularly intersting from a Debian perspective, but it does appear to be constructed in a manner which would permit APT to operate on it's meta-data. That is, there isn't anything odd like file dependencies.. Tip though, FHS 2.2 abolishes /var/state. I have to deal with that myself too someday.. Yuk.
pvg CAN bus is really huge in the automotive industry for some reason. It is in all sorts of things, Motorla has been integrating it into their automotive CPUs, probably is elsewhere too.. I hear it is pretty good stuff for that purpose. I haven't had a chance to look at the dual CAN ports on the MPC555 the ARVP got donated.
