Notes:
I have contributed comments, bug-reports, fixes and modules to several free software projects, but I haven't managed a large free software project on my own by now. I am the maintainer of the FreeGIS project (GIS stands for Geographic Information System). From that project my company derived a FreeGIS CD for Linux, a further step in substituting proprietary products.
