There has been a story about utility computing. Clearly it has been expected for a long time. Now it has happened (or hapenning).
Next is going to be (re)emerging of Multiserver/Microkernel designed Operating Systems (such as Yamit)

Jody Goldberg is a first person I have certified in long time, but I'm *impressed*. She seems to have contributed to many different projects while leading a functional life. How do people do that?

I should find time and really learn Japanese. There are so many interesting people in Japan, including geeks and such. All the European and Russian geeks hang out in English places, but Japanese don't even always translate their sites.

Yamit microkernel and boot finally made peace.
Everything seems to be working (enough to be useful).
This also means - I gotta make BSD server available.

I finally got everything to work. It worked once and does not work again.

Is it unfortunate or what?

It sure seems so.

Random thought:
Moderating an Open Source project is tough job. I wonder, how long does it normally take, before benefits outweigh time invested?

I figured what was wrong with Yamit boot. Now I just have to fix it. Easier said ...

I found CVSWeb for NetBSD. VM is in much better shape. The only question is should I work on NetBSD VM or debug my own code?

Wanted to see what will happen if I apply my stuff to OpenBSD and/or NetBSD VM. I could not find CVSWeb access for NetBSD. OpenBSD VM is just a mess from maintanance point of view. UVM (which is good thing) added another source branch. I started *really* appreciate great job done by FreeBSD guys.

I made some changes to Yamit website. I also applied some optimizations to VM code. 2nd stage boot is such a problem. I should just stop being lazy and go thru this debugging nightmare again.
