A long long time since my last Advogato visit... :-(

Anyway, for the last few weeks I've been working on my Yukatan webmail project, whose primary goal is to create a database-backed webmail system. So far I've been focusing on the database backend that runs primarily on PostgreSQL.

I've documented the development of the Yukatan data model at http://yukatan.sourceforge.net/sql/yukatan.html, and have now reached 1.0 status with the database backend.

I'm posting this etry to Advogato to get some comments and feedback on the database design. If you are interested, please take a look at the SQL schema and related documentation. Please send any comments by email or as responses to the SourceForge news entry.

Thanks!

Last week I finally got around to publishing the initial 0.1.0 version of my personal wiki system Miki. I'm not planning on turning it into any fancy OS project or anything, so please don't expect me to setup mailing lists or give much support for the software. However the source is there, so if you're interested in a simple wiki system that runs on PHP+MySQL in about 600 lines of code, then go ahead and take a look.

There are a couple of things that I don't like about the current version of Miki. I'll be posting my TODO for Miki 0.2.0 in a couple of days.

Starting a diary on software ideas and projects here on Advogato. My personal web site was launhced about a week ago so the site and the Software section referred above are just starting to form up. I'll make notes here as I get the pages properly up and running.

As soon as I got this account I certified Fefe as Master. It's through his work and web site I got to know Advogato.
