sed weirdness

Funny, sed interprets [A-Z] in two ways:

1. on my machines (Ubuntu Warty): [A-Z] == A to Z (only caps)

2. on some others (usually gentoo or lfs, but not all): [A-Z] == A to Z and b to z

Is there a different way to specify "caps" in sed?
