I have finally made it. I have managed to finish the Java coursework within the deadline. Not it's time to worry about the next exam, on Tuesday... Well, it's been so much time sice I last touched PopAsm source that I think I will take a look at it despite having to study for the exam.

The deadline for the Java coursework is approaching. I must use a simulator to run a distributed algorithm, but I did not understand the algorithm yet. I know little about Java and must send the teacher a JAR file (and I have no clue about how to create it)

According to the news, it seems that North Korea admitted they had nukes. Things keep getting better and better...

University
Oh, no!!! Another coursework! ... and to be written in Java! Aaaaarrrggghhhh! I am getting overwhelmed... :(
PopAsm, the Popular Assembler Project
I have finally managed to convert the Expression class to its new interface. There are some bugs with the DUP operator which I will be fixed later. Meanwhile I must study hard for the exams and keep adding Doxygen documentation to the sources.

Things do not look good at the University... It seems I'll have to keep studying hard for the next days, but I'll do my best to at least touch my project (PopAsm) somehow.

Oil and war
After ftobin claimed USA does not need Iraqi oil I had to do some researching to prove it wrong. I already knew oil was behind all this (among other factors as well), but the data I found about the issue was surprising anyway (see my comments on proclus article about the anti-war blackout)

University and PopAsm
I went back to classes two weeks ago, and things are being harder than what I expected. It has been more than one week since I touched PopAsm source for the last time. I will do my best to resume working ASAP.

War
Well, it appears that thanks to president Bush and his puppet (Prime Minister Tony Blair) we will be at war once again... Now the only thing which might prove whether or not it was a good idea to attack Iraq will be the conflict outcome. Unfortunatelly that will cost many lives and billions of dollars.

PopAsm, the Popular Assembler Project
I have registered PopAsm as a BerliOS project. I have also changed the Expression class design drastically. It will take some days to complete this transition.

PopAsm, the Popular Assembler project
PopAsm is doing fine. I have successfully added the preliminary version of forward symbols reference. More on that later.

Joystick
I have won some races with the joystick, but I then bought a new computer where neither of my joysticks work. I am seeking the cause of the problem. My guess it is the motherboard driver or its game port hardware...

I am back at Rio - Brazil. I hope I can resume working in my project soon (PopAsm, the Popular Assembler project).

I also bought a new joystick for driving racing games. The initial try was interesting despite I got the last rank in the easiest race :(
