Notes:

I'm a sys/db admin for a division of a rather large Web property in the U.S. Our division hosts a lot of free web sites, all running on a Linux. Some Open-Source projects I follow and use in my day-to-day work include the following:

- mnogosearch: Some excellent and quickly maturing search engine software.
- postfix: This is an excellent alternative to sendmail, et al. I use it for our email forwarding cluster.
- Lyx: I don't really use this a lot for work, but I think it's some fantastic software.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
