Notes: I'm a sys/db admin for a division of a rather large Web property in the U.S. Our division hosts a lot of free web sites, all running on a Linux. Some Open-Source projects I follow and use in my day-to-day work include the following:
- mnogosearch: Some excellent and quickly maturing search engine software.
- postfix: This is an excellent alternative to sendmail, et al. I use it for our email forwarding cluster.
- Lyx: I don't really use this a lot for work, but I think it's some fantastic software.
