Back in Gothenburg after having spent time on the countryside during the summer. I have one year left on my education and hundreds of things I'd like to do on my spare time. And tons of exciting subjects for my Degree project pop up all the time. It might be a luxury problem but I still agree with Kirkegaard when he says that the oppurtunity of choice is what gives humanity it's anxieties.

Today I met a friend at the university and we started discussing knowledge-building within the field of physics. I've been thinking about creating some kind of virtual physics-teacher/tutor/referencework as my Degree project. Ideally, I would create the infrastructure or backbone needed to enable anyone to contribute to the work in an open-source manner. However the idea is just fresh, and not yet investigated in detail. I believe the hard task is to create a flexible but yet simple environment for both learning and contribution.
