This week was fireworks for me. Worked on quite different programs, like Octave-G2 [ http://octave-gtk.sf.net/octave-g2/ ], Mono-G2 [ http://octave-gtk.sf.net/mono-g2/ ] and now working on [ http://octave-gtk.sf.net/octave-fltk ].
Really awesome time with Mono, and how it makes life easy, in developers perspective, and amount of work people put into MONO.
Made some progress, talking reading buying books on compilers, and downloading code. Eeks. Tried to host a blog, but it sucks, and givenup on this.
Read Dr. APJ Abdul Kalams[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Kalam], {scientist, rocket-engineer, missile man, and India's current president} autobiography: Wings of Fire. Really marvel at the patriot, and hero, that Dr Kalam, is. Incidentally, Dr Kalam, is an ardent supporter of Free Software, self-help, indigenous, self-sustaining technologies for India, and himself has contributed to the development of composite materials for making crutches for disabled people.
The sad prequel [Half-Blood-prince] to Harry Potter, and the Sorcerers Stone, kills more than characters.
Back to work.
