Man my head is so clouded today, it's hard for me to work on the technical stuff, and I dont' know why my head is so clouded...
I hope to write sometime soon a diary entry about some of my political beliefs
There is nothing wrong with flame on an advocacy site.. it is expected, and believe it or not, sometimes resolves conflict
And Finally today's diary entry
I just wanted to take some time out of my day and thank the corporate forces of the Open Source movement. Thanks you Helix Code, you guys are doing a great job and I am excited to see what our lovely desktop will look like 1 year from now. Keep an ear on criticizm, but know you guys are headed in the right direction, doing the right thing, keep the marketing for the Beer Industry... while on the desktop issue, Eazel, Nautalus is looking great. Wish someone would do for KDE what Helix is doing for GNOME... I'm a gnu guy, but with KDE now GPL'd I'd like to see the competition heat up.
Thanks to RED HAT for showing the world what Linux is, and positioning themself to be one of the dominant companies of this century An unusual thanks goes to SUN Microsystems a new ally to the Free Software World.. good job getting involved with GNOME, GPL'ing Star Office and buying Cobalt... now Open Up some more of that Code. VA Linux... I dunno what to say... your perhaps the corporation that contributes most to us developers. SourceForge is truely a staple and important part of our culture now.
Oreilly I dedicate a paragraph of my diary to you guys... enough said.. you are the Open Source movement. Been supportive from Day 1, and are personally responsible for making me the tech I am... I have countless books, and have spent countless hours reading them all.
There are no doubt companies dear to my heart that I missed, I'm sorry your not in my diary, honorable mention goes to DRJ Computing, for paying me to develop linux solutions, and I'm hoping in my down time they will allow me to join some Open Source projects on company time... I mean we are a 5 man company, not exactly like Red Hat, but we all know here, how important Open Source projects are... I wanna joing the PoPTop team, I'd also like to help find a replacement for Exchange Server...
