I commited the received headers callback stuff to cvs and with the help/testing of Sebastien I managed to get it fully working again yesterday! So everybody check out gnome-vfs head (which is still not branched - we are still in bug-killing mode) and enjoy stream information :)
Epittance
So after most of my GnomeVFS bugs are fixed I wanna spent some more time hacking on Epittance.
Now that the basic features are kinda working we need to do some code cleanup :)
My roommate Martin finally installed mono on his web server. He is also a CompSci student and I was telling him how great mono is and how well everything works for ages :). He first installed ngallery but in opposition to my promises not everything worked out of the box. He managed to isolate the bugs pretty well and filed the bug reports very accurate (eg 67722). The next step is to get him fixing these bugs not just fileing them :P
So, I am finally back from San Mateo/California (I was doing OpenSource programming at Scalix). I had a really great time especially in San Francisco and Berkeley! (Some photos are here: Bay Area and I love this one The Golden Gate Bridge (at night))
I fixed a crasher bug in gnome-vfs http-module ssl today, so everybody having problems with http and ssl check out cvs HEAD.
University starts in mid October here in Germany so I have still some time to work with dobey on Epittance.
So so, ich muss da also auf heise lesen, dass das deutsche Volk also nur aus Blog-Muffeln besteht. Diesem Trend muss natuerlich sofort entgegengewirkt werden. Deswegen werde ich mal wieder etwas mehr bloggen!
gnome-vfs http neon-integration
Die Integration laeuft eigentlich ganz gut soweit. Ich ersetze gerade den IO layer der neon lib durch den von gnome-vfs. Dies hat sich an einigen Stellen als doch etwas schwieriger herausgestellt und ich hab viel zu lange fuer "gnome_vfs_socket_buffer_read_until" Funktion gebraucht. Falls jemand gerne Kopfweh bekommen moeche, kann er sich gerne mal die Funktion im cvs anschaun. :) Morgen werde ich das Proxy handling in den globalen Namespace reinschieben und hoffentlich die neon io layer patches rein bekommen.
Sven und ich versuchen gerade ein planet.gnome-de.org auf die Beine zu stellen und dies ist eigentlich mehr oder weniger nur ein Test :)
