- Submitted an abstract for GUADEC V, titled "Creating a Desktop Distribution - Java Desktop System"

- Got to go GUADEC with the gangs which is great. The only drawback is have to celebrate anniversary with Wife a week earlier.

- Investigating the extent of the problem on multiple login with shared home directory

- Took the week off and went to Paris with Kathy and kids. A "Running horse Seeing Flower" tour of EuroDisneyland all within 8 hours.

- Saw the Monet painting again in Paris, really appreciated that much more.

- Okay. Also resigned from GNOME Membership committee to give room for those which greater enthusism.

Started looking a problems caused by shared home directory
due to:
- variations of distros and releases
- gconf locking problem as multiple copies are running at
 the same time

Had a chat with Jonathan Blandford. His primary interest is
to solve the problem related to concurrecy problem due to
multiple logins, in particular when settings made in one
session not being propagated to the other.

After a long break in Malaysia for 2 weeks with mum, it is kindlike cool getting back to Ireland. Enjoyed the times there basically did nothing much apart from eating, reading...

Getting back to work on GNOME with USB on Sunray. Getting some of the stuff reviewed just today through ARC.

Hope to dwell a bit deeper into printing after this.
