I work for a major online music site, programming in Perl on Linux, and using Apache and MySQL. In my spare time I play bass in a rock band and write games in C.

Well, the other day I got an Audrey from for $89, plus $29 for the USB ethernet adapter. A bunch of us at work got them. I plan to use it to controll my mp3 playing over my home stereo.

That led me to mess around with MoeMusic which at first glance looks like a nifty little web interface to mpg123 and your mp3 collection.

That led me to write This script to import my existing library of mp3 files into MoeMusic's mysql database.

Then I watched the Chargers lose a heartbreaker to New England. Dammit.
