Tenemos el año nuevo 2006. Hoy dia hemos hecho una excursión con toda la familia en el parque zoológico de Memphis/TN. Del apartamento al parque tardamos sesenta minutos con coche. Despues hemos ido al centro historico de Collierville/TN. Esta es una ciudad pequeña cerca de Memphis/TN.

Spent christmas in Rochester/NY with friends from Cuba and Germany.

Trying to get an appointment at childrens-clinic is a nightmare in US. At clinic's counter you are told to call hotline, at hotline they tell you to try again after noon. Ridiculous.

My participation in french project terminated (Paris is wonderful). August 22th I moved to Memphis/TN with family. We will stay here for year, at least. Now I am sitting on the carpet in Memphis/TN listening to Latin songs broadcasted by french internet radio station http://www.latina.fr.

Reading my entries in blog again, my feeling is, that I have been too harsh; I was frustated. I'm sure we'll work something out.

PrismTech - Franks new employment
This month Xtradyne Technologies has been taken over by PrismTech, an US/british company, one of leading companies for Middleware Technology and CORBA framework. It happened quite unexpectedly but offers great chances.

GNOME Deutschland e.V. gets into shape
Allmost one month ago "GNOME Deutschland" has been formed as association, and in the meanwhile we succeeded to solve a number of tasks: Prepare official documents, setting up the GNOME Deutschland e.V. webpage (thanks to Chrisime and Bene), welcome first new member (#16), getting into touch with merchandizing companies, etc.
Of course I made some unpleasant experiences, first to mention, administrator of gnome-de.org refused access, not even for sub-pages; but having a look at GNOME Deutschland e.V. webpage now, I should be grateful.

GNOME Wiki
Every now and then further GNOME resources can be discovered, ie. GNOME-Support Wiki and GNOME Wiki; whereas the latter should improve its Header and Footer.
