advogato++

Advogato is really interesting. I did my first post a few days ago and I was wondering how long will take until somebody certified me. Well... for my suprise fxn was the first :-) There are nice people in this World. I would like to "thanks" (also) surripui, he also certified me.

It is a very busy week!! Today I play PaintBall, it is a very good way to reduce stress. :-) After that, put mails in order. I have to find time to upgrade my Debian Woody to Debian Sarge and re-organize my Partitions' Strategy, because I'm without space...

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda6             4.0G  3.6G  416M  90% /
proc                     0     0     0   -  /proc
devpts                   0     0     0   -  /dev/pts
/dev/hda2             510M   15M  469M   3% /boot
/dev/hda5             5.0G  4.9G  157M  97% /home

Besides that, I'm working with documentation for new Free Software Projects related with our Debian User Group. As I said before, it is a busy week, I'm preparing for two Free Software Events in the next days, specially because both of them have a Debian "Booth". Considering this, lots of things stay "un-done", so... have to fight for more time!

Hello World! :o)

First post, first time using blogs! Well, in our lifes there is always (almost always) a first time. I found Advogato a long time ago but never "subscribed" myself. Today I was talking with a great friend (aristeu), and asked him about Advogato... he told me to register, as I was already interested I decided to try it out... why not? :-)

Today I did a few translations for Debian Women Project, anja is finnishing the setup of a new wiki and I'm "feeding" it with Portuguese Bra(s|z)ilian (pt_BR).

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
