Notes:

OK, what am I? what I do?

First, I'm French. Canadian French. Or, more exactly, Canadian (by my mother) and French (by my father - who was born in Casablanca, Morocco) with a spanish name from my ancestors. That's surely explains the strange english that follow. Feel free to correct me by email.

I'm a little Debian Maintainer. I maintains some packages, not much, like gide or tkworld. I was used to also maintain kdrill but the upstream author is just waiting for it's maintainership so I let it to him. I go for Debian mostly because of the community feeling I have there. I just like to be able to ameliorate the tools I'm working with and contribute it back so everyone can used it if they want. I really don't care about fame, not even recognition, as long as you don't blame me after that. My real motivitation is helping each other to progress in their own way. Aren't my communication/educational skills, which aren't so good, I would certainly be a teacher. Advocating OSS is a good alternative however.

Apart from Debian, I'm also lucky enough to be paid for doing kernel hacking for embedded devices at job, something I really appreciate. I learn a lot there, especially on the human level since I'm working not only for, but especially with blind people. My first big lesson learn there is that nothing can stop you except yourself.

I also love writing and playing role playing games. I have my own game which I publish under a Free Licence based on the GNU Free Documentation Licence. You can find more about both of them on my home page, but all it's currently in french. I will add some links later when it will be translate (not a very easy job... if some of you understand french and are natural speaker in english, you're welcome to try it). I also work a bit on the Principles of Free Role Playing Games and on an RPG Creation Encyclopedia, which try to make RPG a real art, with criteria, analysis, technics, etc. Ask me if you want to know more.
