Hi. I'm slowly preparing the 1.0.1 release of GNUMail.app and also the 1.0.3 release of Pantomime. The main enhancement over the current release is going to be related to IMAP support. The upcoming release will have IMAP folder subscription support and more. I also added in the past days iconv support to Pantomime. Everything is progressing so well, thanks to the power of GNUstep/Cocoa/Objective-C!

Well, after weeks of development, GNUMail.app 1.0.0 and Pantomime 1.0.2 are finally out! This is a great step that has been achieved for the projects and for GNUstep.

You can get GNUMail.app here.

You can get Pantomime here.

Well, this weekend was quite busy for me! I worked a lot on GNUMail.app and Pantomime in order to get the next big release ready for next week. I've also updated the Apple Mac OS X port.

You can see a screenshot of the GNUstep version here.

Lots of new features were added this weekend. Look at the ChangeLog file of both projects in order to know what has changed exactly :-)

Tonight I've been working on SASL support for the SMTP code in Pantomime. I've added support for SMTP AUTH for PLAIN, LOGIN and CRAM-MD5 SASL authentication mechanisms. I've also fixed some bugs in GNUMail.app.

Hi. Today it was a good day for work. I was kinda productive for payware oriented development. When I got home, I cooked a nice dinner and I got my hands back in Pantomime. I've mostly worked on non-blocking I/O for read/write operations. It works well. I should finish the code for exception handling tomorrow.

Today it has been a busy day. I've mainly refactored most of the Preferences panel of GNUMail.app to make things more elegant (especially related to the UI). I've also fixed some bugs and implemented new features. Oh well, everything is on the CVS server.
