I just installed the gnome blog applet debian package. I was reading the blog of the guy that wrote it the other day, i forget his name.

Posting to Advogato becaues there is no XML-RPC interface to post to my the blog, I wrote it myself, and I never got round to adding an XML-RPC posting interface.

If this works then it is very cool. I'll either add the interface to my blog, or start using advogato for blogging.

It is 2am, we just had a fire alarm. But it is okay, because I went to sleep at 9pm, so I have had 5 hours of sleep.

Did some washing up.

Got back to University. I now have my machine working and networking again.

Went out and got very drunk to avoid. I was trying to drown my sorrows, I can not remember much, but I think I managed it.

What did I do today? Well I tried writting some more of this C++ student database for University, did I get anywhere? No. How am I meant to write a console based menu system using only standard IO? Time to look for code to steal on freshmeat.

Sent some questions about my accomodation next year at the University of Colorado Boulder. I was told that it is unlikely that I will be able to get accomodation on campus because of the influx of freshmen. So I have to find a place to live in a foriegn country and live off campus, where the bandwidth is lower.

Sent some messages to other people going to CU and asked them what it is like, none of them have responded yet.

Found some bugs in slmon, told the author, he released a new version with bug fixes.

I saw American Psycho at the cinema on Monday. Not the best film I have seen recently but quite good, I would recommend seeing it.
