deekayen: It most likely that people
do not want to purchase your thunderbird because it's
overpriced. I built a 1.2Ghz this weekend for under 900
and it has a warranty where your "used" one does not.
In other news: snow, snow, and more snow expected, so this
gives me time to get a good start on my final project for
Java. We have to write a program to send mail using
javamail. This shouldn't be too bad, though I think that I
am going to use AWT instead of swing.

Well, a lot has happened since I last wrote anything here.
I broke up with my GF and started enjoying the singleness
by going back to school, Only to get a prof that rambles
more than he teaches.
On top of that, I decide to start a new "diet", though diet
is not the right word. I have lost a total of 6lbs so far,
and I feel better than I have felt in years.

I finally convinced my employer to give free software a try
in a production environment. I am going to get to deploy
Jakarta-Tomcat in our environment after thanksgiving.

Ok, so it is the typical "Ignored the diary for awhile"
syndrome again.
Discovered libcurl this weekend and fell in love with it
almost immediatly, I don't know how I ever got along
without it.
Free Software is so
cool.
My boss even understands that, and is
allowing me to use libcurl instead of developing it all
over again, it is a good thing that libcurl doesn't use the
GPL.

I am finished moving into the new apartment, and while I
like the apartment, I hate the fact that I needed to move
to an area that didn't have DSL or Cable Modems to afford
to live.
As for the rest of my life, I get to speak to an
interesting pre-IPO networking company this afternoon.

Well - I have started moving into the new apartment. It
sucks to not have a high-speed connection to the internet,
however I think that I will be able to get more coding done
now that I have to dial-up.
I am getting ready to switch my systems over to debian and
I have had the last straw with redhat. Wish me luck.

Well, it's about time to start something like this. I have
been complaining about doing this for a while.
2 more days until I move into the new apartment (the one
without Cablemodem or DSL), it's going to be an interesting
adjustment.
