      <description>My first diary entry!
I agonised a little over whether I should set up this
advogato account. Compared to the programers I have met, I
feel silly describing myself as a O/S developer. Still I
can code, and when I do code something others could use, I
make it available under an OS license.

&lt;p&gt; I don't find a great deal of time for coding as it isn't a
part of my job, and so it's a hobby to compete with other
weekend activities like sailing. I like to work on things
that make the equipment I have access too more useful. That
means my palm pilot, my linux server at home - connected to
my stero for playing an extensive mp3 collection, and
cygwin at work, for the minimum disruption to our 'Standard
Operating Environment'.
