There's been a lot of noise over Advogato's trust metric
lately. As others have pointed out, it would seem that
people certify other people more on the basis of their
personal opinion of that person than on the basis of their
opinion of that person's work. To me, this clearly
indicates that we need a dual trust metric, where
you rate people according to their work and their
behaviour on Advogato. So you can, say, certify phk as a
Master for his contribution to FreeBSD
even if you think he's a Dimwit to write
articles like this.

Though
phk and I
may have our differences, I don't think he's a dimwit; he's
just in love, and I can sympathise with that :-) ]
