Well, my problems with NSI are apparently over and
everything was modified/changed over on time. Although I am
still receiving notifications that stuff can't be changed
because it is already changed (i.e. requests from over a
week ago are finally coming through), the important stuff
was done on time. Thank god! Why hasn't NSI updated its
system? Why are they still using that antique email based
system?

I just discovered the Utah-GLX
project
on SourceForge which has hardware accelerated OpenGL for
many Matrox, ATI, nVidia, Sis, and S3 chipsets as well as
the Intel 810. This is too cool. I now have HW acclerated
OpenGL on my notebook which uses an ATI Rage LT chipset.
Quake runs really nice now.

Not much to post for today, except that my recent changes to
the domains and hosts I am responsible for through NSI are
taking forever (and I still don't know if they are effective
yet). We are moving everything over to a new ISP
(colocating) and I have no idea of whether or not the IP
changes are taking place at internic (NSI) and whether or
not anything will be accessible come monday morning. Kills
my whole weekend (and will no doubt kill my
entire week). Perhaps other registrars are better?

Oh well, several people have certified me as Apprentice
(which I appreciate) so I can now post (which I have done).
I am now on my way (I hope).

My work on the Phoenix project hasn't progressed much since
I am preoccupied with the imminent move of my office (and
my company to new offices). Hopefully, once I get moved,
the new lines are installed, and NSI figures its shit out I
will get back to work.

Well, I've just recently "officially" started the Phoenix
project. I don't want to publicize it much yet (as its not
ready), but I hope to have some working code and more
complete plan within the next month.
