Can you believe this!? two... TWO years without any entry in this diary!

So what's up?

I don't live in canada anymore :(, I've moved back home.

I have a new job, as an "IT Manager". (I don't know how to translate accurately my job title from my native langage to english.)

Anyway, may be I should start writing some few ideas or rants in that diary. Even though my english, have never been so bad!

Ok, playing with python was cool. Even though in this little
exercise I didn't used all the python features I already
like the OOP flavour that python gave to my code. I mean I
like that python give me the inclination to use OOP. I like
the error handling scheme and a lot of other stuffs (some
interesting datatypes).

By the way, I don't think I'll switch from perl to python.
I am in a relationship with perl ;)

Anyway, It's hard to work today because I'm sick! Took me
three hours to make some basic stuffs I usually do in half
an hour!! Fever and headache ruin my productivity! I think
it's time for caffeine...

I've decided to take a break in 'motion' coding this
week-end, and to give a look at python langage. I am coding
a small ident server (rfc1413) python module just to get
used to python syntax.

Beer! Ok, today was a good day.

I've done some real work on 'motion' (Yet another PHP+MySQL
e-commerce engine). The name is not fixed. I call it
'motion' for some obscure reasons I don't even remember
myself...

AFAIK, the buzz around ISN predictability is justified.
They might have found a more accurate way to predict ISNs
due to a not truly random generation of this ISN by the ip
stack. Well I'd prefered a new attack scenario involving
this old and well known TCP weakness.

Geez, my english is so broken !!! ...

Bad day. Bad mood. No code.

I really wonder what Guardent's guys have discovered
about TCP ISN predictability. They must have found
something big, otherwise why all this buzz around something
that we know since years?!
