Hi All,

Well it is that time. I have resigned from Linuxcare and am moving on to a place called DevelopOnline which is a fairly new startup in Tempe AZ. It's funny, I still believe in the Linuxcare model but I've gone as far as I can inside. I was not really looking for a new job but one found me! I will miss the Linuxcare folks both here in San Francisco and all over the rest of the world. Some of the best people I have ever had the honor to work with. I'll be keeping in touch with them and any of them that find themselves in Phonix AZ metro area should give me a call, I'll stand the beers (or what ever their favorite libation is).

I suddenly realized last night that it was a BALUG night. Not only that but it would be the last BALUG for me for quite some time. I was not ready for that thought, I've been going there for 5 years, in that time I've only missed one meeting. Lots of great people there too.

DevelopOnline has a cool concept, they are putting embedded hardware on line and inviting developers to come and develop applications on it. Any embedded OS they want to use, of course most are using Linux. They offered me the position of CTO/VP Engineering which is going to be quite a lot of work and it requires moving to Tempe AZ area map.
