Whew.

It's been a long time since I've touched this. Quite a bit has occured since November.

• My site has been completely revamped, completely in eRuby, which I've come to love far more than I ever enjoyed PHP. The site is weblog based and is in constant development. I hope to add article posting to it sometime in the near future.
• Have been working on Haskell, a functional programming language, along with the Language of the Year group at #loty on irc.openprojects.net This has given me an entirely new outlook on computer programming in general, and has probably caught me up with some old calculus equations I'd forgotten. Since I've always dealt with Imperative (mostly OOP) languages, it's a unique experience.
• Ruby has been my favourite for quite some time now- I'm practically parked in #ruby-lang and follow Ruby development closely; I find the language and community fascinating and hope to contribute a few library modules to the language in the future. I'm also offering free space on my webserver for Ruby programmers.
• I have a few Python projects in the works right now at the office- A GUI training tool and a revamp of a CBT system I've been administering for about a year now- the new framework offers course developers the ability to change courseware and test pool questions dynamically, then displaying courseware/tests to the user, and grades/archives results. This is completely web-based. I wrote a Python version of Ruby's PStore module to accompish this (called Cryo). I hope to release both the general system and the archiving facility as soon as possible.

That's all I have time to detail at the current moment- I'll be adding to this list as time allows.

Have a few things in the works right now; playing around with IOWA, a Ruby web architecture with a twist. Current development is being done in Smalltalk, which gives me an excuse to play around in Squeak. Many thanks to Avi Bryant for reaching Nirvana, and sharing the experience w/ everyone.

Playing w/ the idea of creating a Ruby WikiWiki clone, based on RDTool. I hope to launch ruby.codedbliss.com sometime within the next month or so, and I'd like this to be a central item.

On a side note, I'm finding tinkering w/ Blender3D quite satisfying; it's amazing something so comprehensive and wonderful is free! Oh... wait, that's not true.. what's so amazing is that so many wonderful, open source programs (most of which are available free) are out there- it's just a matter of stumbing over them.

My site is down right now for an overhaul- Trying to decide exactly what I want to do with it- I'm pondering eRuby currently (it was PHP-based in the past). We'll see how this goes.

Another item- if anyone needs any help- in any way- be that programming, technical writing, design, etc, please let me know. I'd be happy to help in any way.
