NVidia is going ARM all the way to the desktop. And Microsoft is right there waiting for them with Windows 8 announced for ARM SoCs. I still remember NT on Alpha. And pushing Windows from 32b to 64b was clearly a lost battle (as opposed to the rest of the world). Add that to Windows not being exactly hot stuff on an handheld and you have a recipe for not exactly success. The good bit is we’ll probably get some ARM netbooks and desktops out of it.

This is clearly the Year of The Tablet. Honeycomb will make Android tablets not suck. And Motorola is bent on proving it with Xoom which actually looks good specially considering it’s from Motorola.

YouTube is now a TV station in Italia. Yes, what you’re thinking. And some French Minister lied about legislation destined to allow police to crack and do otherwise illegal stuff. You know, the usual. Twitter stood up to US Govt about turning over Wikileaks followers. And Obama wants some kind of Internet ID in US which is supposed to be an ID but apparently is.
