Yes, this is unfortunately very true. I don't think the problem can be solved without greater contribution from others, either osmosoft or the wider open source community. I could do it myself, but only if engaged in robust feedback loops with engaged people. I've laid lots and lots of groundwork which other interested parties could make much better.
