Started working on a tiddlywebplugins.patch to see if adding HTTP PATCH for bags, recipes and tiddlers is workable.

Finally, I'd like to tell you that the best way to get good at something is to not attach your identity to the activity. I do say I am a programmer, but really I mean I'm a person who writes code (and does a bunch of other stuff). The skill of coding is not who I am, it's just one of the many things that makes me the complex interesting person I am. Who am I? I don't know, or I at least can't describe it in words.

Revisiting TiddlySpaceIdentity with some new thoughts discovered while responding in a google groups thread on search.

For me, TiddlySpace is supposed to be a tool for semi-passive dialog. An engine around which people do compare and constrast. Not a person. People.

It hybridizes the wiki concept by allowing individuals (and groups) to maintain their own knowledge networks augmented, supported and refined by other people's networks.

Much like the web at large but with a particular data model, the tiddler.

Fixes an issue with the claim space functionality on 404 pages.

Continued discussions about PATCH.

Inspected some issues with websocket server not updating properly. It appears that the listener is getting munged. The node server is still up but the twanager process that is distributing jobs (via dispatcher) is defunct. More data required.

Released TiddlySpace 1.0.99, fixing a problem with the handling in the 404 page that makes it possible to claim a space. See #924.

Thought about What Is TiddlySpace?.

It assumes that coding is the goal. Software developers tend to be software addicts who think their job is to write code. But it's not. Their job is to solve problems. Don't celebrate the creation of code, celebrate the creation of solutions. We have way too many coders addicted to doing just one more line of code already.
