Yakk: "Is there anything more brave than dying to save your country / people / faith?"

Yes. Doing it against someone who has a chance of fighting back.

Yesterday I got a bit drunk at the Ximian party (and at some bars before the party).

Don't believe anyone that says I passed out at the bar. I was resting my eyes. I am not joking.

Anyway, it was nice seeing everybody again.

I woke up hungover then we drove back to boston. Then I ate at Mary's.

Thank you Excedrin Migraine and Pepto Bismol.

I arrived at ols yesterday. We drove here from Boston. It was a long drive. There was a lot of french along they way. I got drunk when we got here. It was fun. These are short sentences.

Ilan: Does bitching make you feel important?

I finished the picture of Spider Man. I'm starting a batman drawing now.

Also bought 'Grokking the Gimp'.

I got a wacom tablet today, so I've been goofing off in the gimp. I ended up with a half-done picture of Spider Man.

It's really a ton of fun, I wish I'd gotten one of these things sooner. My hand isn't covered in lead and ink when I'm done drawing now.

I've noticed that I only post diary entries when I'm in a bad mood. I'm not sure I like this trend. Maybe I'll change it someday. Not today though.

I assure you, I have good days. I have lots of them. I just don't write about them.

I've had a headache since friday night. It's a bit annoying.

zilch has been doing some cool stuff with bonobo-python and gIDE. I wish I had more time to play with it.

I really wish my cd player hadn't run out of batteries.

I've been up too long.

work Work's been hectic. The new build system is now live and we're pushing new packages. The evolution snapshots are running nightly and are basically working.

gide I've got a lot of changes to gIDE sitting on my hard drive that I need to commit. I wrote a bonobo-based plugin system for it, and put most of the functionality into plugins. The commit is waiting on a few name changes and a changelog, and will require some cvs surgery. blech.

life We found out from the doctors today that my little brother most likely has cancer. It's supposedly a fairly treatable type, but we don't know how far along it is.

It really sucks that this happened to this particular little brother. Anybody else in the family could deal with the daily trips to hour-away clinics and chemo and stuff with some books and a laptop. My brother *hates* being cooped up. He spends his whole life skateboarding and biking and snowboarding and stuff. It's really a shame.
