ChipX86, please be totally honest and obey the law, okay?
Now, this is the latest that << I
>>
will
talk about it,
unless you continue to drag this on further. You can
ramble on all you want about the wonderful logs you have
stored of our conversations, and how you have been "more
than fair", but the fact remains that from the beginning
you not only failed to properly monitor the behaviour of
your channel #webdesign on the IRC
server 'openprojects.net', you also actually encouraged the
behaviour of other participants in the channel.
Let's briefly hash over something that neither
one
of
us
mentioned: that you had your Wayne buddy follow me into the
#freebsd channel and harass not only me but a couple of my
chat friends as well, to the point that Wayne was politely
(eventually strongly urged) asked to leave the channel.
Talk about stalking, shall we?
If you truely felt that I was welcome to your
IRC
channel
at any one point, ChipX86, then your behaviour as a
moderator and participant in the channel would have been
indicative of that. If you truely felt that you were big
boy enough to forget the past and forgive yourself and
others, then you would not have placed a block on my voice
in the channel. I say this, Mr. Christian Hammond, becuase
I had no intentions of going to your channel (the day I had
a block on my voice) and causing problems, as much as you
would have liked that to be the case. I had
already forgotten about the past, and mature enough to be
able to move on.
But, clearly, you at this point are not.
At the very least, Mr. Christian Hammond, tell
both
sides
of the story. Admit that what you were doing was wrong.
Admit
that your channel could perhaps be a bit more user
friendly. It strikes me funny that you would call your
channel #webdesign, since every moment I have been there,
there has not been one conversation dedicated to webdesign
(not even before the problems began). When you have
decided to forget the past and learn to be kind toward
others, then you will have both convinced my family and
the rest of the public reading our sides of the story that
you're not so bad a kid after all.
I may not have the means of saving the logs of
our
conversations and encounters in IRC, but I do now have in
place the legal means of preventing you from infringing on
my
copyrights, stealing my digital work and photos from my
site. Finally, I did not give you my photo. Apparently
you don't understand the difference between asking you view
my site and deliberately sending you my photo via email or
handing the photo to you in person. Just because your
browser requests the picture does not entitle you ownership
of the file. For your own sake, Christian , take a
look at the
copyright laws of the Internet.
Have a great day, Christian. And, hopefully we
can
move on
with this in a positive manner.
