I am new to Advogato.

Forgive me for being dense.

What creates the links among people and projects that I observe on other people's notes (titled "This person is:")?

The format looks consistent among people, so I wonder if I should just put them in myself, or if something on the web site maintains them. At the moment I'm favoring the former hypothesis.

And the answer (courtesy of Kalle Svensson (krftkndl)) is:

The person to project relationships are indeed managed by Advogato. Once you are certified, project relationship forms will automagically appear on the project pages.

Thusly, once you are an apprentice or higher, you can go to the project page and choose your relationship to the project.
